SSVGI Trust Activities
  • The Trust organized a contact programme between the students of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions and the less privileged children of the Devnath Anand Ashram Orphanage. Articles of daily use such as Books, Stationery, cosmetics, apparel, and sports equipment were distributed to the children. In addition “Dominos Pizzas” were also distributed to the children.
  • A “Samman Samaroh” was organized for honouring the teachers of various schools, located in and around Bareilly. The teachers were identified on the basis of their achievements and contributions to the field of education.
  • A “Samman Samaroh” was organized for honouring the meritorious students of various schools, located in and around Bareilly. The students were identified and scholarships were distributed to meritorious students, belonging to the less privileged section of the society.
  • A tree plantation drive was organized in the premises of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions, to generate awareness amongst the students and society, about the importance of protecting the environment.
  • “Nexus” a Science Project Competition was organized in order to nurture budding talent amongst young students of science and also to generate interest in the field of basic sciences.
  • An “On the Spot Painting Competition” on the theme “Live Green, Love Green, Think Green” was organized to provide an opportunity to the students to showcase their talent and unleash their creativity.
  • An awareness programme on “Civic Sense” was organized and posters and banners were put up all across the city, to create awareness about civic sense and traffic rules.
  • A friendly cricket match was organized between the staff of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions and the local civil servants.
  • An interaction of school children was organized with renowned author of Physics “Shri G L Mittal” and renowned author of Chemistry “Shri H Shrivastava”.
  • A Faculty Development Programme was organized for faculty members of Technical institutions.
  • A library with books on the subject of Personality Development and Spirituality has been set up, to inculcate amongst the students, the basic knowledge and teachings of various religions.
  • 12.A “Human Chain” was formed as a part of a campaign organized by the staff and students of Shri Siddhi Vinayak Group of Institutions, to create awareness about exercising the right to vote amongst the people of Bareilly.

Several other programmes have been scheduled by the Shri Siddhi Vinayak Trust for the next few months, such as a debate competition on social issues, a visit to the orphanage of Mother Teresa, a medical check up camp for the people residing in nearby villages, a blood donation camp in association with Indian Medical Association, a computer literacy programme for the people of nearby villages.
